I graduated from Drew University in 2011 with a double major in Biochemistry and Neuroscience, with honors in Neuroscience. GPA 3.7 on a 4.0 scale Entering Drexel College of Medicine next fall, anticipated MD in 2018.
Experience
I have significant experience in tutoring, especially in the sciences. I have helped students in courses from introductory chemistry to advanced neuroscience laboratories. Outside of the sciences, I have also tutored high school students in Algebra and Geometry, as well as helped with English assignments. I also have experience in laboratory settings and research courses, where I graded exams and reviewed worksheets with students. I enjoy tutoring and sharing my interest in the material with the students. I also take pride in helping them and ensuring that they not only do well on exams but also understand the concept underlying the material. I have worked with a variety of students and understand that everyone studies differently. I am a hard worker and will do my best to help students achieve the grades/scores they want. I will be a first-year medical student at Drexel College of Medicine next fall, and am expected to receive my MD in 2018. I am currently working full-time as a Research Associate for a medical communications company.
